I categorised this item under ‘weird people’ because you’ve got to be a little weird to know things like this! So full marks to New York Times columnist David Pogue.
If you are in America this evening (April 4th 2006) then at exactly 1 hour and 123 seconds after midnight, the time and date will be:
Of course, if you are living here in the UK, then this will actually occur on 4th May.
Pogue claims that this has never happened before and will never happen again but I need someone to explain the logic behind that assertion. Am I wrong or is this not just because of the way we render the year?
