I got a new hard drive and loaded vista on it . It shows 3GB memory when i have 4 in or if i yank one out.
prior to this i had same computer and i ran warcraft and conan without problem…memory was fine . all i did was change to a better hard drive [...]

Just a quick simple question. I have 4GB Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500. I have XP 32-Bit(home). At a later stage I will get a 64 Bit OS but at the moment I’m happy with the 32 Bit I have.
Now I know I won’t get to use all 4GB, that’s fine, but [...]
Atm my old PC is using 2x 512mb sticks of corsair in dual channel mode.
I just ordered 2x 1gb sticks of corsair (also valueselect) and wanted to make sure I could run all 4 sticks safely.
If I keep the 2×512sticks as is, and put the 2×1gb sticks into the other dual channel slots it should [...]

BTW its on sale at bestbuy the only place you can buy it. Anyway my question is this part number discontinued since there no more information available on your website?
