I upgraded my Windows Vista 32bit Home Premium laptop and installed 2- 2gb Corsair PC5300 667 chips, which were compatible with my system. I got a new hard drive and loaded vista on it . It shows 3GB memory when i have 4 in or if i yank one out.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of only 10 (approximately) D945GCLFs in New Zealand at the moment and I thought I’d share some of the stuff I’d learned about it for the advantage of others. Firstly, pictures:
What problems have you guys encountered with Vista? I had trouble hooking up to my wireless internet in my house, yet it worked with XP, and Vista really slowed down my machine (C2D, 1GB RAM, GeForce 7800).

Board has to have Raid on board sound
support 1066 DDR2 will be buying another 4gb sooner or later

1. check your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and see if there are any symantec/norton device driver files in there, but BE CAREFUL! Delete the wrong file and you’ll be using the recovery console in no time
